I’m not sure what shade would match what you are currently using but if you go to everyday mineral’s website under the faq they explain their foundation colors. It’s under the question can you explain your foundation categories. Or you could ask someone on the everyday minerals forum, someone there might be able to help you.

I think they are pretty equal in quality and coverage.

you should go for that brand which has the perfect colour for your skin tone - I cannot buy L’Oréal, because their colours are too dark for me - stuck with essence pure mineral (a cheap but good one, btw) or Maybelline (rose ivory matches perfectly :-D)

I think there nice. There not like ultra hip and stylish but there still nice. Gap isn’t like the most stylish place. I see them as a place where you come to get a more classic clean cut look.

I hear L’oreal is better a lot of make up artists use that foundation.

I have always had issues with maybelline breaking me out or turning bad quickly, so I really try to stick with L’oreal.

I do know that maybelline has samples so you could try that see if it works for you or not

you definitely want to look at the backpacks that are on

they do customize as well so if you want a specific design you can always email them. They have cool looking messenger bags too, and once again you can ask them for the specific sizes you are looking for - they are very accommodating.

If you search Amazon.com for “anime bag” you can find some that use clips or buttons instead of velcro. Although velcro does seem to be pretty popular with anime bags. ^_^;;

I personally don’t prefer bare minerals- even the gal that does the ad on T.V. looks bad to me. I tried it anyway,we girls are cluton for punishment-it just did not give me the look I liked.i tried the other one too, sheer cover and it was about the same a little better though. personally I like Philosphy’s the Present- gives a silky texture and it looks flawless, it’s $25 for a tube and it’s worth every penny. It doesn’t take but a dab, that’s it. It minimizes the pores and hides most imperfections. Can you tell I love it. 1-800-love-151- oh after i started using it I got more compliments than I have ever had. Everyone wanted to know what I used and I’m pushing it like crazy now. Great Results-No complaints here!!

Get some samples of the Hollywood mineral foundation and their oil control powder and the veil from LA Minerals website. The samples are like $1 each and they ship them free. Then if you like it you can orde the full size and they give you a coupon to recoup the cost of the samples!
I been using it for about 8 months now and LOVE IT!!!! The best I’ve ever tried…and I’ve tried almost all of them.

Oh…no bismuth or talc or perfumes or junk in theirs.

I own a couple of licensed anime messenger bags (2 Saiyuki and 1 Samurai 7) and they close via a snap closure only. It is very difficult to just “lift” the bag open and steal something because the flap is up against the bag quite snug. However, you can apply a fabric adhesive velcro to go underneath the flap of the bag for extra security (you can purchase this at any Michaels or fabric store. Just make sure it is a “fabric” velcro adhesive).

Make sure you really check out the ingredients. You should really check out Bellissima. They also have Allantoin in their foundation which is harder to find in a mineral makeup. Go to their About Us page that tells about all their ingredients.

YEa I totaly love bare minerlas I got two difeent shades one that mathc my skin color and then antother that was a lil darker. I didn’t think i’d ever use the drk one but in teh summer when i get a tan it’s perfect. I really love this makeup the only make up a where so worht the xtra bit of cash. and it’s really good for ur skin actually it helped clear up my blemishes and zits. Oooh and they have thisd blush called warmeth that gives ur skina really perrty tint whne u get a lil pale in the winter

Bare minerals isn’t liquid, nor is it inexpensive. But it won’t make your skin break out or clog pores, regardless of what type of skin you have.

It can look powdery IF you cake on too much. But it does cover blemishes well when applied properly and evens out skin tone.

I use the bare minerals foundation (L’Oreal makes a less expensive mineral powder foundation that is almost as good), a powder blush by Rimmel and top both with bare minerals ‘mineral veil’ which gives a lovely, finished effect.

Another thing that is good in the bare minerals collection is their bloom lip plumper/gloss. Their eyeshadow has good staying power too; and it can be improved by using a little liquid concealer on your eyelids before applying the eyeshadow.

Last, their brushes are GREAT!

I use Bare Escentuals, and I really like it, but it does contain the bismuth. I haven’t had a problem with it since I’ve been using it, but a lot of people have complained that it caused them to break out or made their skin itch. But for me, the product exceeded my expectations.

I did just try out another mineral makeup from a place that I heard about on this forum…Faerie Organic…
They’ll send you a free sample for the cost of shipping. So far, I really like it. I don’t notice a big difference between it and the Bare Escentuals. But it doesn’t contain the bismuth or talc, which some people believe is a carcinogen.

This one also says they don’t use bismuth in their products, but I haven’t tried it, so I don’t know how it performs…

I used to have oily skin but then my friend went to a beauty school and told me about neutrogena makeup ever since that’s the only brand of make up I use and its pure mineral make up that isn’t really expensive.

The only one that I liked the results of was the original Bare Minerals. I’ve tried all the others and the results just didn’t meet my expectations. I had to pay around $60 to get me started-which was a lot to me, but it was a wise investment. I got the best prices on QVC on their website.

Actually, my favorite is Almay. The kind that has the yellow on it. It actually works to fight acne and prevent new outbreaks. A little goes a long way so it will last a while but it is more expensive at $12 a bottle. I know it wasn’t on your list but the stuff works great!

I’ve been using Bare Minerals for almost three years and love it. It’s NOT a liquid foundation though. I hated liquid bases because they felt so heavy and mask-like. I honestly forget I’m wearing the Bare Minerals. It’s more expensive than the other two, but I think it’s well worth it. It doesn’t looke powdery and fake - it doesn’t look like anything. It does a much better job of covering blemishes, sunspots, and unevenness than you would ever think just a powder would.

everyday minerals (aka EM -is a great line! Much less irritating than the others, and w/ less additives (BE adds a few things to theirs,including spf). lasts all day and feels great on.

Great brushes and mineral colors for eyes, etc.
